The CEI-Bois General Assembly took place in Brussels on the 19 of June.
In that context, the European Timber Trade Federation (ETTF) was officially registered as a new CEI-Bois full member. The European Timber Trade Federation promotes the interests of the timber trade across Europe, representing key National Federations for importers, merchants and distributors. CEI-Bois strongly believes that uniting the two forces under one roof would definitely lead to a wood sector stronger representativeness, a louder voice and more powerful influencing capacity in order to reach greater achievements for all members of both Organizations.
During the GA, the draft CEI-Bois Advocacy Plan for 2018 and the Common Position on Bioeconomy were officially presented too.
